Our housing crisis is devastating many people within our state and communities. There is no denying that the Lehigh Valley needs to offer relief and assistance to families and people facing housing crises. If elected, I will introduce a bill in order to create an untaxed savings account for first-time homebuyers. This will directly help renters become homeowners. If residents are able to save money untaxed, this will greatly increase their ability to buy a home. Additionally, I will work to completely reform, reimagine, and allocate resources to PA211, which is a hotline that connects people in need with resources. The work that PA211 does is essential in supporting our most vulnerable community members.
