Right now, property taxpayers carry the burden in poorer school districts and have shouldered balancing the budgets of these school districts for too long. Being an advocate for these taxpayers is essential when making decisions about this issue. If elected, I will work with community leaders in order to gather insight and receive recommendations in order to address this problem. One plan that has been proposed is the PA Home rebate Plan which would give homeowners up to $2000 a year. I will look to reviewing this proposal as well as continuing to collaborate with the working group in order to create innovative strategies and plans to critically address this issue.
