About Nick

I am a project manager and small business person with four years of experience in project management at IBM and four years as a real estate agent and investor. I will be graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master’s in Public Administration in May ‘22 (Fels Institute of Government) and a Master’s in Law in December ‘22 (Penn Carey Law School). At Penn, my coursework has focused on program analysis, government relations, and leadership. I am currently completing my capstone project with NASA, supporting the Artemis Project, which will return Americans to the moon. 

 

In 2019, I became one of the youngest elected officials in Allentown’s history when I won a seat on the school board. Immediately, I began laying the groundwork for addressing the $12 million budget deficit and $415 million building deficiencies. After a year, I was unanimously elected as board Vice-President. There are many local opportunities to lead, and none more important as the Allentown School Board because it impacts the future of Allentown’s 17,000 students. As a board member with collective impact goals, I engage community stakeholders and have tackled issues ranging from board governance to spearheading the search for a new superintendent. I want to continue to impact young people and to inspire others to give back to our community to make it better.

 

Outside of work, growing up in Allentown with my mom, she taught me the importance of public service. This is why I am constantly trying to give back and serve my community. Additionally, I’m a huge sports fan, ideally Penn State football or Philadelphia Eagles! I am an avid traveler and, most recently, summited Mount Kilimanjaro as part of a fundraising campaign, raising $25,000 to benefit the local school district, and marking the 48th country I’ve visited. I also enjoy supporting my local alumni association at Penn State University, where I graduated in 2017 with a bachelor's in Finance. I also serve on the Launchbox advisory board. Launchbox is a small business incubator that provides free services to local entrepreneurs to accelerate their businesses to success. I have also served as a Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Ambassador for the last four years.
